John Rose, born in Topeka, KS, graduated from Elmhurst College in 2002 with a degree in Spanish. In 2005 he made his way out west where he realized his photographic hobbies had turned into a passion.
Capturing a mood, the nostalgia of the moment and the satisfaction of a story's resolve are what drew Rose to his camera. Amidst a search for relevance within his career path he opted to attend Brooks Institute in Ventura, CA to study visual journalism.
While in college for a second time he realized he could make a difference for people by sharing their stories as a visual communicator.
Today Rose is learning everything he can by documenting the experiences of the people around him.
